Career
Since childhood he was interested in music and used to listen to different albums. His inspiration was Michael Jackson and he himself learnt to sing and dance at a young age. He was also a part of church choir and performed at different local talent shows.
At the age of 13 years he was discovered by a local production team who provided him voice coaching and helped him to seek a record deal in New York. He was later promoted to various labels such as Jive Records, J-Records and Warner Bros. Records.
At the young age of 16 years he released his self-titled debut album on 29 November 2005 which ranked at number two on Billboard 200.
On 12 January 2007 he made his acting debut with the film Stomp the Yard. Later, he recorded number of songs and albums which include Exclusive, Kiss Kiss, Forever, Graffiti, Crawl, Fan of a Fan, F.A.M.E., Loyal, Heartbreak on a Full Moon, Indigo, etc.
